SMS Consent & Opt-In Policy

Last updated: March 5, 2026

Overview

We provide an automated phone-based appointment booking service. When a caller schedules an appointment through our voice assistant, they may receive a one-time SMS confirmation with their appointment details. SMS messages are only sent with the caller's explicit verbal consent.

How Consent Is Collected

Consent is collected verbally during the phone call. Before completing a booking, our voice assistant asks the caller whether they would like to receive a text message confirmation. The caller must clearly agree before any SMS is sent.

Example conversation:

Assistant: "Your appointment is confirmed for Tuesday at 2:00 PM. Would you like me to send you a text message confirming your appointment?"

Caller: "Yes, please."

Only after receiving an affirmative response is the SMS confirmation sent.

What Messages Are Sent

Sample message:
"Your appointment has been confirmed for Tuesday, March 10 at 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. — [Business Name]"

Opt-Out

Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once opted out, no further messages will be sent. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Data Usage

Phone numbers are used solely for the purpose of sending the requested appointment confirmation. Phone numbers are not sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.
